SCENE: A coat lies abandoned on the floor. We hear a violin from very, very
far away. A dancer enters walks around the coat as if it is a fallen body.
Looks up into the sky. A trapeze is
swinging back and forth. Lights out. We rush backwards in time.

I like this. an inversion of whatr we talked about originally. We start with expanse. . . maybe then that "rush back in time" happens with the circus tent falling from the sky and surrounding the audience? The ensmble move the audience into a small circle on the stage, then they are enclosed by the tent?
(I haven't gotten into the choreo-script yet, so this may not make sense).
oooh yes. what fun to be enclosed in a tent!
